The EduTrust certification scheme is a voluntarily scheme enforced to regulate the educational sector which all Private Education Institutes (PEIs) can choose to adopt or abort. It helps to distinguish higher quality players in Singapore's private education industry.

About Student Pass and Immigration related issues

International students are required to have a valid Student Pass to study in Singapore. This processing of student passes can only be made possible after EduTrust Accreditation with approval given only by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

International students must abide by the rules and regulations set out by the ICA which includes but not limited to spending a minimum of at least 5 hours in school from Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays or under the written consent of absence from a certified medical practitioner.
